Calendar Access
Step 1
Yay! If you are on this page, you have joined the Artist Directory. The Creative District Calendar is a resource available to artists and venues in the Directory who have public events they would like to promote. If you would like access, please let us know by sending an email to arts@cityofpt.us.
For individual artists, the calendar is FREE to access.
For venues and organizations, if you already use MyCityScene, please send the email associated with your account to arts@cityofpt.us and we will send you an invitation that will allow you to cross-list your events. If you are not a MyCityScene member, email arts@cityofpt.us and we will send you an invitation to register for an account at a 50% discount from the MyCityScene PRO rate (the discounted rate is $5/month as of 2026).
Step 2
Look out for an invitation to join the “Creative District Calendar” from MyCityScene.
Step 3
You can now create events on the Creative District Calendar! They will be approved within 3 business days of being submitted.
Important! In order for events to appear in the Creative District Calendar and the MyCityScene Calendar, you’ll want to choose these checkboxes on the right hand side as you set up your event:
Event Promotion: Check MyCityScene Google Calendar
Event Placement: Check Association Calendars/Creative District Calendar
Public Categories: Check all that apply, and at least one from the long list of options
Step 4
Your event will be approved and added to BOTH calendars so it can be seen by the widest audience. Creative District calendar will also be featured in the monthly Arts & Culture Newsletter.
If you do not already have a MyCityScene account, we recommend using the same login and password as your Artist Directory account.
