Aliina is a watercolorist, abstract painter, eco-artist, up-cycled jewelry maker and a state certified K-12 teacher. Her exploration of art in nature and art with nature started with mud pies in her childhood backyard and is continually inspired by the beauty of the PNW. She thrives teaching classes in the great outdoors and uses art as a tool for self-exploration, grounding, and meditation. Degrees in visual art and ecology help her deeply appreciate the ways we are all connected. Her teaching encourages playful, whole body integration and acceptance; including movement, stretch breaks, and recognition that learning is a practice of letting go and play.
