Brighid Grahan

Brighid is an oil painting artist living in Port Townsend. Surrounded by sea, mountains and open skies, her works are inspired by the Olympic Peninsula and how color, light and the passage of time interact with these elements. The symbols and geometric shapes featured in her paintings are influenced by the decoding of a visual language of synesthesia as experiences become stored as memories. She holds a Bachelors in Visual Arts from Seattle University and is currently an artist in residence at Zee Tai Collective.
