Kerri’s art is a series of processes that inspire and guide the finished products. The first step is laying down texture using modeling paste requiring 24+ hours to dry. Next, Kerri uses acrylic inks and water on top of the modeling paste which can require 3-5 days drying time due to the saturated puddles she has created. Kerri uses acrylic paint and acrylic pens to highlight the gorgeous designs that appear during the drying process. Sometimes she includes an extra step of adding more resin to recreate the beautiful wet-look that existed prior to drying. Kerri’s art process is a meditation and she is inspired by nature and calming colors.
