Pamela Roberts is a nationally recognized cellist awarded the top music scholarship at the UW, the Brechemin Award, five times. Pamela won a 3-year fellowship to the Aspen Music Festival. She is principal cellist of the Port Townsend Symphony Orchestra (PTSO) and co-artistic director of the PTSO Chamber Music Series. As faculty cellist at the University of Puget Sound she was principal cellist of the Tacoma Symphony. She performed as soloist with the Seattle Symphony, Aspen Music Festival, Port Townsend Symphony and Bremerton WestSound Symphony, among others. As a chamber musician she worked with the Philadelphia String Quartet and Northwest Chamber Orchestra.
