I’m SEQ, an expressive draughtsman, figurative painter and sculptor based in the PNW. I’ve studied drawing at Pratt Institute, sculpture with the Clarence Muse School, commercial illustration at the New York H.S. of Art and Design and painting with Kingsborough Community College’s Fine Arts dept. I employ charcoals and water-based media; materials that are explosive, dark and unpredictable in nature suit the intuitive physicality of my aesthetic and my work process as I allow the images to compose themselves and form their own narrative.
