I’m an expressive draughtsman, figurative painter and sculptor choosing to employ charcoals and water-based media. These are dark, explosive and unpredictable materials that allow the images to compose themselves and form their own narrative. I’ve studied drawing at Pratt Institute, sculpture w/ the Clarence Muse School, commercial illustration at the New York H.S. of Art and Design and painting w/ Kingsborough Community College, NY. Currently teaching charcoal drawing @ NorthwestArt. Commissions accepted.
