SOUNDCHECK VOLUNTEERING

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Soundcheck!

Below is a list of ways to help. Please use the attached form to choose the shifts you would like to volunteer for. We will send some paperwork and more detailed information in advance of the event.

Volunteer Job Descriptions

The form below has specific times on the Friday (at the Fairgrounds), Saturday (in Downtown Port Townsend), and Sunday (at Fort Worden) of Soundcheck that you can choose to sign up for. Please note that once a shift is full, it will be hidden from view on the form.

Fliering/Postering — Hanging posters and distributing handbills around Port Townsend and East Jefferson County. Times and days in the next few weeks as set by volunteers’ schedules.

Set Up/Tear Down — Help from hearty folks who want to get spaces shipshape before and after events!

Bingo/Volunteer/Info table — This one is for the people who like to know what is up and want to make sure everyone else does too. Manning a table where people will pick up a special Soundcheck Bingo Card, come for general info, and check in to be directed to their volunteer posts.

Parking (Friday only) — You like wearing a hi-visibility vest, waving a flag, and directing cars where they need to go.

Artistic event support roles — Choose from being a general helping hand at one of the many workshops and performances over the weekend, or sign up for a specific activity that strikes your fancy. Either way, you will be assisting the artists and attendees as needed and getting to be part of some fun community events! 

Dining event support roles — Know your way around a dining hall or kitchen? Be a part of the Community Pasta Dinner, Dessert Cook-off, and/or Pancake Breakfast. Help is needed for set up, service, and clean up for these communal meals.
