I am a visual artist who has lived in Port Townsend for 30+ years, painting and playing music. I have traveled the world extensively, often engaging in social justice, crisis response and arts engagement in places like Siberia, Hong Kong, Jamaica, Brazil, Haiti, Greenland and Mexico. Racial justice in particular has been a primary focus in my formative work. I have spent many years painting people, both through fine art and illustration. As an illustrator I have had more than 35 books released by major publishers, including some notable award winners. Currently, I make art that reflects the views and vibes of the PNW in an attempt to counter the mounting darkness with beauty and light.
