Victoria Foster Harrison is an Encaustic Printmaker, Collage and Mixed Media Artist. She uses a unique encaustic printmaking process involving the creation of a design with pigmented beeswax on a warm palette. By laying paper on the wax, the image is imbedded into the paper. The direct result of the lifted paper is an original, one-of-a-kind monotype. Victoria incorporates monotypes into collage with her own textural photographs, mark making and asemic writing. The synergy of her right-and-left-brain thinking is reflected in the blending of crisp edges and organic textures, with a fresh minimalism approach.
