Port Townsend’s streets are full of galleries, working studios, and arts organizations collaborating to foster and support visual artists in all disciplines and styles.

The first Saturday of each month, more than a dozen Port Townsend galleries open up for Art Walk throughout the Creative District. Stroll through the district from 5 to 8 p.m. during these monthly celebrations to experience art being displayed and created at special exhibitions.

Northwind Art’s downtown gallery features exhibits from local and regional artists, and offers lectures, live music performances, and workshops for artists and art appreciators; their Fort Worden location offers classes in sculpture, painting, calligraphy and more.
